NeuraTiM Moodlo

Privacy policy

Moodlo is a private journal provided by NeuraTiM. This policy explains how the app handles your information. It is available offline.

What is stored

Your entries, moods, emotions, tags, tracked values, diary spaces, attachments, thumbnails, reminders, saved views and settings are stored locally on this device.

Public content and external services

Optional online features fetch public emoji, Feelingverse stories and music from GitHub. Requests do not include your diary content or an app identifier. GitHub receives connection information, such as your IP address, under its own privacy statement. Moodlo has no analytics, advertising, remote crash reporting or remote AI processing. External websites and feedback email use your chosen browser or mail app and those services' own policies.

Encryption

This browser version stores your diary without encryption in this browser’s storage. The Android and iOS versions encrypt your diary.

Export risk

A .moodvault file is encrypted with your password. A JSON, CSV or PDF export is not: anyone who opens the file can read it. Moodlo warns you before creating one and never creates one from a single accidental tap.

Retention and deletion

Your journal stays on this device until you delete it. Entries moved to Trash remain there until you delete them permanently or empty Trash. In Data & privacy, Delete all data removes this app's local journal, attachments, settings and downloaded media. Backups, exports and copies you shared outside the app remain until you delete them separately. NeuraTiM cannot access or restore your journal.

Your choices

You can use the journal offline without an account. Device authentication, camera, photo access and notifications are optional and requested when needed. Declining them leaves unrelated features available. You can change permissions in system settings, remove downloaded media, and delete your local data in Data & privacy. Moodlo does not track you or sell your journal data.
